Wonderland Hair and Beauty are an Alice in Wonderland inspired Hair and Beauty salon and Hair Extensions Training Academy in Kingston-Upon-Thames!
We are unique in our approach, and focus on beauty on the inside as well as the outside, and offer holistic therapies in addition to traditional hair and beauty treatments. We also run and host female-led events, workshops and training in the salon, that encourage female empowerment and provide a supportive and safe space!
We also have an in-salon Hair Extensions Training Academy that offers both accredited training in application methods on live models (Which is unheard of, usually training dummies would be used) as well as practical guidance and advice on how to start and grow your client base and business! We also support our delegates with ongoing mentoring and support as we believe that women who support women achieve great things!
Why Alice in Wonderland?
We believe that every little girl should read the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland and we couldnt think of a better ethos on which to base the salon!
- Alice is the original feminist, she was far ahead of her time in the way that she thought and acted. She refused to conform to society's expectations of her as a Women which we fully support!
- Wonderland celebrates and embraces everything weird, wonderful and fabulous which is the same as our team! Our salon is fully inclusive and recognises, as a Women, in life you never have to be just one thing and we all deserve a little sparkle in our day!
- The story reinforces the message to dream big and not put limitations on yourself!.. 'Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast'
These are all such important messages for Women today and we are proud to support this movement and use this platform to empower them to look and feel their best and ready to kick the day's ass!
